Αφού κλείσαμε τρεις μήνες στην Αργεντινή, έπρεπε να βγούμε από τη χώρα, για να ανανεώσουμε την άδεια εισόδου μας. Έτσι μπήκαμε για πρώτη φορά στη Χιλή και με την ευκαιρία, αποφασίσαμε να εξερευνήσουμε ένα μικρό κομμάτι της για μια βδομάδα. Εφόσον ήταν καλοκαίρι, ο καιρός ενδείκνυτο για υδάτινες διαδρομές στα ποτάμια της Παταγονίας με το καγιάκ μας! Τα απρόοπτα, όμως, δεν έλειψαν...

Argentina (Ep. 3) - Our first steps on the Andes!

Συνεχίζοντας στην όγδοη μεγαλύτερη χώρα του κόσμου, φτάσαμε επιτέλους στις Άνδεις, που τόσο ανυπομονούσαμε να αντικρίσουμε! Το γιορτάσαμε με κάποιες πολύ ενδιαφέρουσες πεζοπορίες, ανακάλυψα όμορφες διαδρομές για τη μοτοσυκλέτα μου, ενώ δοκιμάσαμε κι άλλες, πρωτόγνωρες δραστηριότητες! Κάπως έτσι καταλήξαμε στην πόλη της Mendoza, όπου ήταν ώρα να αναδιοργανωθούμε για τη συνέχεια του ταξιδιού μας...

Εφοδιασμένοι από την πόλη της Mendoza, ήμασταν πια έτοιμοι να εξερευνήσουμε τις απομακρυσμένες γωνιές της Παταγονίας. Τα τοπία, καθώς κατευθυνόμασταν προς τον Νότο, άρχισαν να ομορφαίνουν και να γίνονται μαγικά! Σύντομα, όμως, διαπιστώσαμε ότι η καλλονή αυτή δεν κατακτιέται εύκολα... Το κρύο και οι ισχυροί άνεμοι έκαναν την εμφάνισή τους κι άρχισαν να δοκιμάζουν τις αντοχές μας.

Argentina (Ep. 5) - Deep in Patagonia!

Μπαίνουμε, πια, για τα καλά στην Παταγονία κι εξερευνούμε την ονειρική περιοχή των λιμνών με κάθε τρόπο: με το αυτοκινούμενό μας, με μοτοσυκλέτα, με άλογα, με πεζοπορίες, με το καγιάκ μας, αλλά και με το αλεξίπτωτο πλαγιάς! Αυτή έγινε η αγαπημένη μας περιοχή στην πανέμορφη Παταγονία, που την είχαμε απωθημένο. Μάλιστα, είχαμε την ευκαιρία να τη χαρούμε την καλύτερη εποχή, το καλοκαίρι!

παλιοτερα ειχε κανει road trip στην Ασια και στην Αφρικη.
εδω εχει και αλλα, ,πεζοπορια, ιππασια ,αλεξιπτωτο πλαγιας ,οχι μονο ταξιδι με μηχανη.στο πρωτο βιντεο κανει καγιακ,σε αλλο εχει ταξιδι και με αυτοκινητο,οδηγει ο ιδιος οπως στο βιντεο 4

Τα εγκαταλειμμένα χρυσωρυχεία Mina la Mejicana λειτουργούσαν μέχρι το 1926 στο Όρος Famatina, σε υψόμετρο 4.600 μέτρων! Για τη μεταφορά ορυκτών, εξοπλισμού κι εργατών, κατασκευάστηκε το 1904 ένα από τα μακρύτερα τελεφερίκ της εποχής, μήκους 35 χιλιομέτρων! Αυτά τα ορυχεία προσπάθησα να επισκεφτώ με τη μοτοσυκλέτα μου μέσω μια δύσβατης διαδρομής στα βουνά, αλλά όπως θα δείτε, δεν ήταν εύκολο...

Όταν ξαναμπήκαμε από τη Χιλή στην Αργεντινή, κάναμε μια παράκαμψη μερικών ημερών, ώστε να θαυμάσουμε τα θαλάσσια ζώα στις ακτές του Ατλαντικού Ωκεανού. Ύστερα, κατευθυνόμενοι Νότια, ανεβήκαμε πάλι στις αγαπημένες μας Άνδεις και τις εξερευνήσαμε πεζοπορώντας σε επικά τοπία! Πλησιάζοντας, πια, στο Στενό του Μαγγελάνου, βρεθήκαμε μόλις ένα βήμα πριν τη Γη του Πυρός!

Chile (Ep. 3) - From Patagonia to the Atacama Desert!

Leaving behind the far south of Chile, we also left the cold behind us. We enjoy our final excursions in Patagonia — traveling by van, motorcycle, and on foot. After many adventures, we now head toward Central Chile. Following a stop in the capital to service our vehicles, we continue on to the Atacama Desert, where the landscape begins to change dramatically!

We spent days driving far from paved roads, and my motorcycle offered me unforgettable moments on rugged and remote trails, where crashes were inevitable. We enjoyed unique volcanic landscapes and scenery of unparalleled beauty!
